Now we know it’s really a crisis: the Yellowstone Club Ski and Golf Resort, a private retreat for the ultra-rich in Montana, filed for bankruptcy. Its 340 members, including Dick Cheney, Dan Quayle and Bill Gates, paid $250,000 as an initiation fee but now they won’t be able to enjoy those thousands of acres of privacy and nature in the company of other millionaires. On the other hand, they will save $16,000 in annual membership fees.
